Veterinarian

About Dr. Park

Dr. Park grew up in Colorado. She completed her undergraduate schooling at New York University and earned her Veterinariae Medicinae Doctoris (VMD) from the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Veterinary Medicine. She practiced in Chicago for several years, prior to moving to the Pacific Northwest. Her interests include soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, diagnostic imaging, and complementary medicine. Dr. Park is a level 3 Fear Free Certified Professional and a strong advocate for the mental well-being of our pets. Dr. Park is an active member of the community and enjoys volunteering with organizations that provide veterinary care to pets of our underserved and homeless citizens.

She is also a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, American Animal Hospital Association, and Washington State Veterinary Medical Association. Her hobbies include rock climbing, snowboarding, and camping.

Dr. Savjit Gurm

About Dr. Gurm

Dr. Gurm is a Washington State University graduate and a proud Cougar. He started his career by practicing at a busy multi-specialty 24-hour practice in Chicago for a couple of years before moving back to beloved Washington State in 2008, where he has been practicing in the greater Seattle area since then. Dr. Gurm has more than 15 years of practicing all facets of veterinary medicine, whether it is general wellness care, dentistry, surgery, or emergency care. He has special interests in internal medicine and advanced surgery, especially Orthopedics. Along with being an experienced general practitioner, Dr. Gurm is also a proficient surgeon in specialized surgeries like Anterior cruciate repair (ACL) in dogs using multiple techniques, including complex techniques like TPLO (Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy). He lives with his parents, wife, kids, and a camera-shy beagle named Oscar on the Eastside. He likes to play golf, enjoy motorsports, travel, and spend time with family and friends in his free time.

Dr. Christine Coleman

About Dr. Coleman

Dr. Coleman grew up in rural Connecticut where she first experienced veterinary medicine as a volunteer in a local clinic and agricultural classes while in high school. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Connecticut in Animal Pathobiology. She moved to Washington prior to entering the Peace Corps. She was placed in Guatemala to aid farmers with animal husbandry. After returning, she became a licensed veterinary technician and worked for a boarded veterinary surgeon for many years. With the support of her husband, she graduated from Washington State University with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. She appreciates all aspects of veterinary medicine but is most passionate about surgery. With her loving husband, they share a home with 2 senior Shiba Inus and 3 rambunctious cats.
